Peter A. Ströll (1967) studied law at the University of Bremen. His eight years spent working for Radio Bremen (TV) awoke his interest in media law, which is why he specialises in the fields of trademark, competition and copyright law. He acquired his knowledge through his legal work in Hamburg, San Francisco, Berlin and Cologne, among other places.

In 2005 he founded the law firm Dorenz Ströll Rönneper & Partner in Cologne, specialising in trademarks, entertainment and agencies. As a member of the Senior Management at the Cologne based naming agency NAMBOS, he is responsible for the Research & Legal Department. Furthermore, he has been developing names for more than fifteen years and advises international companies on branding issues, especially in respect of the development, verification and safeguarding of brands.

In addition to his work as a lawyer and name developer, Peter A. Stroll is a sought-after expert at international branding seminars and specialist events. He also gives lectures at Marketing Clubs and trademark fora, organises and leads internal company naming workshops and makes his legal experience available as a consultant to a project to support those founding new companies. In addition to this, he passes his knowledge on to students at various universities as a guest lecturer. Many of his comments and opinions on legal issues have been included in various publications.
